Daly's Dose of Reading

Teaching Children about Gratitude

Before the hustle and bustle of the holidays, take some time to share these wonderful books with your children celebrating gratitude and thankfulness. With all the talk of Black Friday, shopping, gift-giving and the general attitude of more, more, more; take a moment to be thankful for all you already have and use some of these books to teach your children to do the same. And let’s hope that some of those crazy stores decide shopping on Thanksgiving is INSANE, and give their workers a day of rest.

You can also reserve these titles at the library. Most libraries allow you to do that online and then they will let you know when to come pick it up. How easy it that?!

Happy Turkey Day everyone!
